I specialize in working with children and teens.
When working with young children, traditional talk therapy doesn’t always work. I incorporate other methods such as play therapy, art and Sandplay. Being creative and meeting each client at their current level is an important part of the therapeutic process.
If your child is struggling with social skills, anxiety, depression, friendships, acting out at home and/or school, gender identity, Autism Spectrum Disorder, grief, trauma, adjusting to new situations, attachment, questions about adoption, or any other concerns, I can help.
Working closely with parents in either parent sessions or family sessions is an important part of the process. Working together we can help repair or strengthen the parent/child or family relationship.
